Shay McAlpin is a freelance hairstylist in the Washington area with 15 years of professional hairstyling experience. She obtained her cosmetology license and graduated from the prestigious Graham Webb International Academy of Hair in 2004. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, she was one of the top hairstylists at the notable Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa in Baltimore, MD. She has made her mark behind the chair and scenes at fashion shows, photo shoots , charity events, weddings, proms…any many other events …you NAME it! 

Shay has an undeniable  adoration for hair care, and it manifests through her innovative styling and exceptional cutting techniques. Today, she is still relishing every aspect of the beauty industry. Known for her professionalism and her diverse background, she has the expertise to create a positive atmosphere and turn any project into a success.
